A vacation to Seville with a lot of vegetarian tapas
If you are looking for good vegetarian tapas in Spain, you only have to ask locals. In Andalucia you will find in most tapas bars fried fish tapas, but if you take a closer look you will see that you have a great choice of delicious vegetarian tapas.
After our Yoga week with Yoga Spirit Cirle in may at Casa Erica we decided to go on a short vacation to Seville. The temperatures at this time of the year are perfect there and by bus you can travel from Torre del Mar to Sevilla within 4 hours (by car only 2.5 hours). After our arrival at the bus station Plaza de Armas in Seville it was only a short 15 minutes walk to our Hotel Espacio Azahar. We were friendly welcomed at the reception and got a lot of recommendations for sight seeing and good tapas bars. They even got a list printed out with vegetarian tapas. Still hungry from the travel we went to the tapas bar Dos de Mayo (Plaza de Gavidia 6), only 150metres from the hotel. You will find mainly locals in this bar and the ‘camareros’ (waiters) are really funny and entertaining. You can find our order sorted from the best in the beginning in the next paragraph.

Dinner in Seville – Vegetarian tapas y más
If it should be more fancy for the night, I can recommend the tapas bar Duo Tapas (Calle Calatrava 10), close to the restaurant and bar street Alameda. Know you believe me that you don’t have to stay hungry at a tapas bar as a vegetarian! As a drink you can order a tinto de verano (summer vine similar to Sangria). By the way, we had the salmorejo soup every day, although we were never that much into gazpacho, so you should really try!
On the Alameda we discovered the Fusion Cuisine Restaurant Arte y Sabor (Alameda de Hércules, 85). You will find a big choice of delicious vegan and vegetarian tapas.
